The Foam Cell design uses a micro-cellular foam insert that significantly reduces cavitation, which—along with excessive aeration—is one of the most common causes of shock absorber failure. Under heavy loads, oil and gas in the external chamber can mix and form bubbles, reducing oil viscosity. When aerated oil passes through the valve, it creates less resistance, preventing the shock absorber from functioning properly. The Foam Cell insert fills the space normally occupied by air or nitrogen, eliminating bubble formation and ensuring consistent damping performance during prolonged heavy-duty suspension use.
